T-Rex 0.13.0 (Nvidia GPU Miner)

T-Rex v0.13.0 (Nvidia GPU Miner) is a new update of the T-Rex miner , which brings with it a number of useful changes and improvements.

  • OS support : Windows, Linux .
  • DevFee 1%

Please note! T-Rex is a closed-source miner with a built-in 1% development fee . Also, make sure you have the latest video driver installed (the latest to support CUDA 10). The Linux and Windows binaries are compiled for CUDA 9.1/9.2/10.0.

Changes in v0.13.0:

  • Added Tensority algorithm (for RTX, 3% DevFee) to Bytom coin.
  • The dedal algorithm has been returned (it was removed in the previous release).
  • Added SSL support.
  • Watchdog now displays restart statistics for all GPUs.
  • Restarting the miner after an update is no longer counted in the restart counter.
  • Fixed the command to turn off the miner via API when Watchdog is enabled.

T-Rex Advantages:

  • Support for multiple algorithms
  • High performance
  • There is support for backup pools
  • SSL protocol support, example of using stratum+ssl://veil-eu.coinblockers.com:4244
  • Support for the automatic update function —autoupdate
  • The monitoring page http://127.0.0.1:4067/trex The web address of the monitoring page for a specific miner will appear in the console when the miner starts. Here you can also create a config file from the batch file you ran.
  • Watchdog monitors the miner’s performance, restarts the process if necessary, and saves statistics between restarts. It can be disabled using the –no-watchdog command or ” no-watchdog “: true for Hive OS.
  • The miner contains a developer commission of 1%, for tensority 3%.

🦖 What is T-Rex Miner?

T-Rex Miner is a highly efficient mining software for NVIDIA GPUs (video cards) with support for a wide range of algorithms. It runs on Windows and Linux and is optimized for stable, 24/7 operation.

Key Features:

  • Support for many algorithms (Ethash, Etchash, KawPow, Octopus, ProgPow, etc.).
  • Low developer fees (~1% for most algorithms).
  • Built-in web interface for monitoring.
  • Management support and API for third-party software.

⚠️ Important: Only works with NVIDIA GPUs (AMD cards are not supported).

📥 How to start using

1) Download

Download the latest version from the official website or GitHub :

🛠️ Launch settings

T-Rex is launched via the command line or a bat/script file. An example of a basic command:

t-rex -a kawpow -o stratum+tcp://pool.example.com:PORT -u YOUR_WALLET_ADDRESS.WORKER -p x

What does it mean:

  • -a— mining algorithm (for example, kawpowethash).
  • -o— pool address.
  • -u— your wallet address + worker name.

💡 Save this line in .bat(for Windows) or .sh(for Linux) and run the file.

⚙️ Settings and options

There are many additional options for managing video cards:

  • --pl— GPU power limit (%)
  • --fan— fan speed (%)
  • --cclock--mclock— changes in core and memory frequencies
  • --lock-cclock--lock-cv— fixed frequency/voltage values

Example:

t-rex -a kawpow -o stratum+tcp://pool:PORT -u WALLET.WORKER --pl 70 --fan 70

📌 Tips and nuances

  • Dev-fee ~1% means that approximately 1 minute out of 100 will be spent working for developers.
  • Please make sure your NVIDIA drivers are installed and updated for proper operation.
  • Your antivirus may mistakenly flag the miner as a threat. Verify checksums and download from official sources.
  • Setting stable parameters and monitoring temperatures will help extend the life of your GPU.
